WHAT IS THE EYBL CHAMPIONSHIP LEAGUE?

EYBL Champions League is comprised of Nike sponsored and at-large independent programs. The programs will compete for a spot in the EYBL Finals at Peach Jam.

The EYBL Champions League sessions will be:

  • Session 1 - May 8 - 10: Indianapolis, IN

  • Session 2 - May 15 - 17: Memphis, TN

  • Session 3 - May 22 - 25: Kansas City, KS

  • Session #4 - July 8 - 11: Las Vegas, NV
    Play-In Games for Peach Jam will be played July 12th

  • Peach Jam - July 14 - 19: N Augusta, SC

HOW WERE THE PROGRAMS SELECTED?

The programs were vetted utilizing a rubric that consists of but not limited to:

  • Program Board of Directors

  • Mission Statement

  • Coaching staff

  • Program administrators

  • Market

  • Relationships with programs in their neighboring states  

  • Team roster and past success

  • Other age groups quality

  • Middle school program

  • Program history

WHAT ARE THE AGE GROUPS FOR EYBL CHAMPIONSHIP LEAGUE 2023?

The age group for EYBL Championship League is 15U, 16U, & 17U.

WILL THE EYBL CHAMPIONSHIP LEAGUE EXPAND TO OTHER AGE GROUPS?

Yes, Spring EYBL Champions League will include 15U & 16U.

WILL THERE BE QUALIFIERS FOR EYBL CHAMPIONSHIP LEAGUE 2024 HELD IN 2023?

Yes. In July we will host EYBL Champions League qualifiers for all age groups. The winning programs will be awarded a product package and waiver of EYBL Champions League fees. Programs will be evaluated based on selection criteria listed above as they compete in these qualifier events for EYBL Champions League slots.

WILL THE EYBL CHAMPIONSHIP LEAGUE EXPAND TO GIRLS PROGRAMS?

WILL THE EYBL CHAMPIONSHIP LEAGUE EXPAND INTO DIVISIONS?

We are looking to expand to include more skill levels. Players learn and develop their games at different rates and pace. Providing organized leagues at the local, state, regional and national levels segmented into skill and experience will engender enjoyment and player development.
